John Reeve and the Krellmachine enjoy helping folks. One of the ways in which we/I/they can help is by engineering and producing recordings, or by playing instruments in the context of an ensemble.

There are several places where this has happened.

Tom Foolery and the Mistakes

John Reeve played bass with the mistakes for several months back in 1999, when they drove to Ohio and back playing music along the way. TFaTM played their last show in 2006, and you can see Kyle Sowash's (the driving force behind the band) most recent efforts on myspace.com. Here, through the magic of 4-Track Cassette and the Krellmachine's digital logic, is late-90s Emo music recorded in Lubbock in spring of 1999:

Spring is Here Again

Emo Band

Peripheral Visionary

Wear You Out

Noel Williams

The Machine saved this version of Time in a Bottle from analogue degradation.

Redefined

In early 2006, John Reeve recorded these at their practice space (you can reach their webpage here):

Anarchy

Crimson Skies

Hail to Arms

Also, in a set of recordings at Redefined's practice space, John Reeve also recorded this EP (you can see HtA's webapage here):

Forthcoming

Les Cousins: Coeurs

Here is a set of songs recorded for an unrealeased EP for the Lubbock TX band Les Cousins. You can also see a video of them performing in our video page. Their myspace page can be reached here.

Verlon

Be Free Where You Are

The Color of Maude

Sunstruck

Fresno Pierce

John Reeve played bass with this little jazz combo for a while, and these tracks were recorded at Texas Moon Studio in Levelland TX:

The Boy From Impanema

Crazy

Sugar in my Bowl

Ambient Music For Christian Conrad

Christian Conrad is an artist currently working in Lubbock, TX. We worked together to produce a video installation piece that was displayed at J&B coffee in November of 2006. You can access the videos from that installation here (Due Live Aug 2007).

Also, with Emily Reeve we made a longer noise collage, in four parts:

Prologue

Part I

Part II

Part III

The Wheatly Kids

During the 2006-20007 school year, John Reeve worked at an afterschool program with a number of elementary school students in Fall 2006, they produced a set of songs a s a CD.

Below are two songs from Aesops Hips Hops :

Courtnee - Don't Count Your Chickens

Roy Rob - Learn How To Think
